After filming our unboxing video of the brand new Axial SCX6 Jeep JLU Wranger, we instantly headed to bash mountain to put this new RC crawler car to the test! We have both decided, the camera does not do the size of this new SCX6 any justice at all. While it dwarfs it’s 1/10th scale brother, the SCX6 is technically 1/6th scale, but in our opinion it is bigger than some of our 1/5th scale models.
Subsequently, to put this RC car to the test, we threw everything bash mountain has to offer at it. This huge RC car muds off road like it’s nothing. Plus, the mud makes it look ten times more cool than it already looks. Surprisingly, the size of the Axial SCX6 made it dig a little deeper into the soft mud than we expected, but with 4WD it pulled through every time!
Additionally, the high-low transmission for adjustable speed was awesome! It transformed the car from crawling mode to bashing mode in a second. We didn’t know we were getting two cars in one with this giant!
This truly is a one of a kind vehicle and it surprised us how much fun we had with it! If you have ever wanted to try giant scale RC cars, this would be a great RC car to start with!
